Bringing Joy to the Community: A Recap of Our 3rd Annual Bike and Toy Drive

On December 9th, from 11 am to 1 pm, the heart of Minden, LA, was filled with the warmth of community spirit during our 3rd Annual Bike and Toy Drive hosted by WE'RE HERE, a non-profit 501c3 organization committed to making a positive impact. This enchanting event, located at 119 W Pine St., was a testament to the magic of the holiday season and the power of community generosity.

Community Engagement:

The event saw an incredible turnout, with a diverse and enthusiastic crowd coming together to celebrate the spirit of giving. Families, friends, and neighbors joined hands, making the occasion truly special. The laughter of children echoed through the air as they eagerly awaited the arrival of Mrs. Claus and her helpers, ready to distribute joy in the form of toys and bikes.

Generosity:

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our generous sponsors who made this event possible. Diamond sponsor Pearls of Purpose and others demonstrated their commitment to spreading joy in the community. Silver sponsors, such as B1 Bank, GBT Bank, and individuals like Danny Weaver from the Webster Parish Marshal Office, showed unwavering support. Bronze sponsors, including Something Savory N Sweet, Carroway Pre-owned, Harper Motors, and others, contributed significantly to the success of the event. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the joy on the faces of the children as they received toys and bikes. The air was filled with laughter and excitement as Mrs. Claus and her helpers spread holiday cheer.
